I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. The presents and favors I got everyone were things that could be treasured for a lifetime. I wanted to get them things that would help them recall how exceptional both our reception and wedding was. Wedding day preparations are always an exhilarating experience, but the number of choices for the décor, gifts, and so on also makes it a somewhat frantic one. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. Along with a ring pillow and wedding garter, which were very attractive, was a charming flower basket and unity candle. This gorgeous satin set also included a wedding guest book and pen that also matched perfectly. It was astonishing to us to see that many charming accessories and supplies for so low a cost. We also found the perfect wedding album with a place for special keepsakes and scrap-booking pages as well. The wedding album was ideal.
Finally we were down to the cake topper, place card holders and wedding favors. That was all we had left to pick out. She chose a lovely wedding cake topper with two doves made of glazed porcelain. Those doves will make an outstanding piece for her to treasure forever. Every guest got a place card holder at the reception that was silver and in the shape of a picture frame. She thought it was neat to give the guests something they could actually use after the dinner. The products she bought for her special day ended up being very good choices. She’s excited about having some extra money for the honeymoon since she found such good bargains on most of the things she bought for the wedding.
The wedding ceremony was absolutely fantastic and the reception was gorgeously decorated and got a lot of positive comments. My daughter and her new husband looked so wonderful as they danced their first dance as man and wife. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. My own baby, now married, may have a baby of her own some day. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. I did go with some radiant boxes for jewelry for each of them, and also bought a piece of unique wedding jewelry to put inside. I chose a beautiful rhinestone bracelet for all of them. It was just perfect for them even though it probably sounds like a bit much. All my dreams came true on my wedding day; it was absolutely glorious. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Might something come of it? If they did get together and someday took the plunge, he would still be my brother in law, but my sister would also be my sister in law too. Only time will tell.

I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. Soon my daughter will be getting married and I have been helping her to prepare for her country western wedding and reception. Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. It sounds like it will be a fantastic time for all the guests. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
