Beautiful Heart Weddings!

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

What better way to say how much you love each other than to plan a beautiful ceremony in the month of February, the month of love? Putting the symbol of love all around our wedding day struck me as a wonderful way to celebrate marriage. My initial purchase was a stunning tiara that I discovered while browsing on the web. The invitations I selected were just one of many supplies that I needed to buy for the wedding theme. The invitations I sent out were little cards with two little silver hearts on the front. It was really elegant looking and the inside was preprinted, so all I had to do was fill in the blanks with all the necessary information of who, when and where.
After picking out our wedding invitations for our guests, I started to check out all the hearts wedding accessories they had to offer. There was quite a variety of accessories and supplies for all kinds of weddings. The had everything from invitations to wedding favors for just about any theme you could think of. That’s where I got most of my supplies for my heart wedding. There was a lot to pick from for heart weddings.

Everyone had their wedding attire taken care of, including our little flower girl and ring boy. I picked out a white satin basket that had bows and lace decorating it for our flower girl. For the ring boy to carry down the aisle I ordered a gorgeous white double hearts wedding pillow with the two gold hearts entwined, and a white satin ribbon for the rings. My bridal tiara was a pretty good match for the one that I picked out for the flower girl to wear in the ceremony. With her lovely pink flower girl skirt and her crown, I felt that she could have passed for a princess, especially when she did such a graceful job in the wedding. So did the ring boy, he was quite elegant in his little tuxedo with a red boutonniere in his lapel. He did his job of taking care of the rings marvelously, and he was in perfect harmony with the rest of the wedding ceremony. I was so proud of both of them.
The centerpieces we had made up for the reception dinner had tiny hearts intermixed with roses that were white, pink, and red. On each of the reception tables were little two hearts wedding candles to set the romantic mood of the theme I had chosen, and at each setting was the nicest place card holder I could find. The wedding favors we got our guests should be a terrific souvenir from our wedding; they had handles in the shape of a heart attached to tiny silver bells. There were frosting hearts all around the bottom layer of our wedding cake, and each layer was decked out in pink and red roses all around. On top sat our very special keepsake hearts wedding cake topper made of white porcelain, which looked so elegant with all the other cake decorations.
Everything at our wedding and reception was the perfect picture of a true valentines day wedding with all the hearts and flowers imaginable. Thank goodness for the world wide web, which certainly saved me a ton of time and hassle.

Exquisite Hearts Wedding Favor!

I wanted to have my wedding in the month of love, with cupid and hearts and flowers all around. So I chose the month of February to have a lovely hearts wedding and reception.  With all the fantastic selections I found online from heart wedding invitations to gorgeous heart favors for our guests, it was made so easy to have a romantic ceremony and reception. Inviting people, of course, was just the first phase, so I went right from that onto setting up the overall look and feel of the wedding, and then gathering together the supplies and accessories to make it work. I bought large scarlet bows made of velvet to put on the church pews with a ribbon that would run from one pew to the next. The altar was beautifully decorated, with wonderful candle holders and candles, including our unity candle which was adorned with a heart made of red roses. On the scene at the wedding, we put many pink and red roses mixed together, in the floral bouquet that I carried. It may have been a touch extravagant, but I’ve always wanted to have doves released as we left the church building, so we did, and it I thought it was wonderful.
The wedding apparel that would be worn by those who were going to be in the wedding had already been selected. She wore a pretty pink dress, made for a flower girl, and she did such a wonderful job as a flower girl and looked so brilliant that I thought she did look like royalty. The ring boy was just as cute in his small tuxedo and red boutonniere, and he did his task just as well. He carried the ring pillow like a pro and kept in step with the rest of the wedding party. I was very glad that I chose to include both of them.
For our wedding reception I had centerpieces made up of red, white and pink roses with little valentine hearts arranged in with the flowers. I got placecard holders that was the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. I ordered beautiful little silver bells with a heart shaped handle that make a very lovely keepsake from our wedding day for each of our guests. Every layer of our wedding cake was adorned with small red and pink roses, and the bottom section had tiny hearts running all the way around it. Our hearts wedding cake had a white porcelain topper on it that complimented the rest of our cake décor beautifully.
Everything at our wedding and reception was the perfect picture of a true valentines day wedding with all the hearts and flowers imaginable. I’m just glad I had the internet to turn to, it made everything so much easier.

Best heart weddings!

You can definitely call their wedding romantic with all the heart wedding accessories they had for decoration. From the invitations to the wedding favors everything had cute little hearts on it. The pretty hearts wedding invitations they sent out had a couple of silver hearts on the outside with the scheduling and contact information all printed so that it was right there when you opened it up. They were really quite beautiful. They picked out very elegant candle holders for the unity and tapered candles, and of course there were two small hearts dangling from the unity candle. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. Hearts were on the sides of the church pew where the wedding tulle was attached. The fact that they tied the knot on Valentine’s Day no doubt had something to do with the whole hearts idea. It was an incredible wedding, highlighted by a bride that was so lovely, she could have been an angel.
At the reception there were hearts and flowers everywhere you looked. All the centerpieces were bouquets of gorgeous red and white roses, with little hearts sticking out of each one, and they had little silver hearts wedding place card holders at each table setting. The tables all looked elegant with the sparkling champagne flutes and the lovely wine glasses. She really did do a bang up job on table décor They had their names and the date of the wedding inscribed on the wine glasses, and the champagne flutes were crystal. The champagne glasses on bride and groom table were really something special. They had a silver double hearts wedding insignia embossed on them, very similar to the hearts wedding invitation they sent out.
They had a little magnificent hearts wedding cake with five layers of heavenly confection. The cake was a dream for both the eyes and the stomach. The cake topper she chose, believe it or not, wasn’t a heart, but, figurines that looked exactly like the bride and groom. That cake topper was one of a kind, and it was the first time I’ve ever seen something like that. She found it online at the same place she got the rest of the items she needed for her ceremony and reception. She took some pictures of her groom and herself, and from that, they put together a cake topper that could have been their twins. I’m sure they’ll treasure that forever.
We had the best hearts wedding, in fact they gave us two thank you gifts. We got coffee in a bride or groom styled package, along with a heart shaped coffee scooper, and then we also got very pretty votive candle holders. A very original idea for them to think of, I felt. Actually they had a lot of cute ideas for the ceremony and reception. I know hearts are the a perfect choice for a Valentines Day wedding, but I was impressed with all the gorgeous decorations and accessories she found for everything. I really thought the wedding cake topper was the most awesome of all. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She informed me that they had products for any kind of gathering you might be throwing, and she agreed to show me the website. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. The week they’re spending in Mexico is going even better for them than the wedding did, I’m sure. I can’t wait until they return and I can see all the pictures she took, listen to all the stories of the fabulous places they saw and things they did. From the pictures on the pamphlets she had, it looks like a beautiful place to visit.
