Today, we have watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, other types of boxes for jewelry, but years ago, pretty much everything was put into standard jewelry boxes. The array of jewelry boxes can be decked out in a plethora of styles and colors. My daughter bought a few for her and her bridesmaids and the party guests. In fact, she found even more than that when she went shopping online for all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies. No matter what look your going for at your wedding, a specific theme or a more customary look, you’ll find loads of suggestions there. The décor my daughter and her groom went with had a fairy tale look and feel to it. It was an incredible sight to behold when he stood waiting, in his majestic tuxedo as she walked down the isle in a dress that would have made Cinderella jealous. The ceremony was delightful. A horse drawn carriage with a driver in classical attire swept the two of them away from the church after the ceremony was over.
We all met at the reception hall which she had elegantly decorated with lovely flower vases and tulle draped in a carousel fashion with little white twinkling lights. An arch with green plants and red and white roses climbing up an arch stood behind the newlyweds’ table, while the wedding guests had at their tables an exquisite bouquet of flowers with sparkles that shimmered silver. She picked out tea light place card holders in the shape of silver doves that made the tables shine even more. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. The men were given little key chains with the well known frog prince as a charm. The wooden, silver-plated, discount jewelry boxes that each of the bridesmaids received had a black velvet lining. My daughter and son in law had each of them engraved with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding. The thank you gift my daughter gave the girls was very warmly received. The jewelry box she got them looked very gorgeous, but it was in fact a cheap jewelry box and I had one like it myself for a long time. Each of the groomsmen received a set of wine gifts and their names etched in a tiny plaque. I felt those were novel thank you gift ideas.
The three-layered wedding cake they had was topped in debounair fashion with a small castle as the wedding cake topper. She even found a cake knife set that matched up with her storybook theme and champagne flutes to go with it. The amount of money she saved was staggering considering that she didn’t skimp on quality. We offered to pay for the wedding, since we are the brides parents, but they both insisted they could do it themselves.
The first dance for the bride and groom was like something in a movie, and it was very emotional for me. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. We had a fantastic time at the reception and the garter toss was unbelievably funny, with all the guys pushing and shoving each other out of the way so they could be the one to catch Cinderellas garter. My baby girl’s fantasies were fulfilled on a glorious wedding day, with all of her close friends and family members to share it with. They are off on their honeymoon, and I’m certain that it will be every bit as fantastic as the wedding. She promised to tell me all about the great places they went to while on their honeymoon, as soon as she gets home.

Finding everything I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception was a lot of work, but went I went to pick out a gift for I bridesmaids, I realized that the other things had only been half of the battle. I had a really difficult time finding exactly what I wanted to get for them. I saw all kinds of possiblities for wedding favors for bridesmaids and wedding guests on the Internet. Narrowing it down was the big challenge. There were also a lot of great deals on thank you gifts that I found at a discount. I got a really good deal on a wedding set that had a ring bearer pillow, a flower girl basket, a guest book, a pen, and eight pieces in total. That was a big savings. They were a lot cheaper as a set than they would have been if I would have purchased them individually.
I knew my bridesmaids would be thrilled if I got them an elegant jewelry box, and I found just that while I was perusing through the thank you gifts. As I looked, I discovered a variety of high-quality wedding jewelry boxes. The choices for what to get my bridesmaids were so many that I finally just went back to planning the rest of the wedding because my head was spinning. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. I didn’t have my wedding cake topper yet, nor did I have the wedding favors for my friends and family, so that’s where I went next. I opted for a bride and groom salt and pepper shaker set and a bottle opener made to look like doves that had a beautiful chrome finish. The package that the dove bottle openers came in was so pretty that I just used that and didn’t even get any special boxes. My man got the groomsmen a neat little multi-purpose tool that had a tiny scissors and a toothpick and all kinds of weird gadgets.
We got a figurine of a bride and groom holding each other to put at the top of our cake. I looked at several different styles, and almost bought the monogram cake topper with silver brushed initials and crystals, but I fell for the embracing couple instead. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. I did go with some radiant boxes for jewelry for each of them, and also bought a piece of unique wedding jewelry to put inside. I chose a beautiful rhinestone bracelet for all of them. It was just perfect for them even though it probably sounds like a bit much. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. I also got a some pearl wedding jewelry for myself, and wore it in my wedding ceremony. There were some awesome bargains on very elegant jewelry items. The groomsmen were pleased with what my hubby got them, and the bridesmaids were thrilled with theirs.
All my dreams came true on my wedding day; it was absolutely glorious. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Might something come of it? If they did get together and someday took the plunge, he would still be my brother in law, but my sister would also be my sister in law too. Only time will tell.
