Gorgeous mikasa crystal

Monday, May 11th, 2009

I went to a wedding last week where they had mikasa crystal accessories on all of the reception tables. The place settings were so lovely with all the mikasa wedding favorsand gorgeous mikasa crystal glassware. The bride decorated her whole wedding and all the reception tables with such excellent taste. The mikasa accessories she had really added sparkle and elegance to her already beautiful table settings.
They had lovely little place card holders that were the cutest silver doves, with bride and groom placecards on their tails. Her centerpieces were quite lovely too and really helped to bring out the ambience of all the accessories she had decorated the tables with. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. They gave out fantastic party favors for everyone at the reception. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. They chose lovely little gift boxes with hang tags that said thank you to package our gorgeous mikasa crystal favors in.
Deep chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese topping each of the five layers with the fantastic wedding cake they had. Their wedding cake topper was really extra special. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. It looked just like them. I had to find out where she ordered her wedding accessories from, the cake topper would be great for my mom and dads’ renewal wedding for their anniversary.
The garter toss was really a riot, I laughed so hard. Watching the looks on the guys faces as the groom removed the garter from the brides leg, was priceless. As the garter flew through the air, they were all falling into each other as they tried desperately to grab it up. What was really funny was that the winner of the garter toss was talked into participating by the other guys and he was a widower in his 70’s. The old guy walked away with a big smile on his face.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. After the best man said his speech and we toasted the bride and groom, it was time for their first dance together as man and wife. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. When the bride and grooms dance was finished, everyone joined them for the next song. I think I over extended myself on the dance floor, my feet ached so badly.
Finally it was time for the bride and groom to depart for their honeymoon, and we all said our good byes. I found out from one of the other guests that they were going to Hawaii for their honeymoon. I’m sure their honeymoon will be just as wonderful as their wedding day was. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
It was only a couple of weeks later that I got my thank you card from the happy couple thanking me for sharing their wedding day with them and for the wedding gift I bought for them. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. By the way, I did find out how she could afford a mikasa wedding and that gorgeous cake topper. In fact, I’m getting ready to place my order right now for my mom and dad’s anniversary wedding.
