When my fiance and I set the date for our wedding, I started planning and shopping for all my accessories and wedding supplies, right away. I’m a dedicated online shopper and so, of course, that’s the first place I went to find what I needed. There were accessories and reception supplies that would help me to plan the most fantastic wedding and reception party ever, all on my computer. Starting with the beautiful invitations I chose, and finishing with the super wedding favors for our friends and family.
To start with we decided that we wanted to have a theme wedding and we agreed to make it a beach themed wedding and reception. We’ve always lived near the water, even as kids and it has been a favorite place of ours and our friends for years.
I ordered beach invitations right away so they would be on their way to our friends and family, first thing. All the guests we invited said they would be there and that they can hardly wait to watch us walk down the aisle. Now, since the invitations were taken care of, I could concentrate on finding the bridal accessories I want for my wedding. I was surprised at all the accessories they carried for weddings and receptions, and I shop online quite a bit. The first thing ordered was the exquisite hair comb and tiara to wear on my wedding day. The wedding jewelry I found was just as gorgeous as the hair accessories I chose. I looked at all the jewelry and found the necklace and earring set I wanted to wear with my wedding dress. It was so beautiful with little pearls and glistening crystals, it looked fantastic.
There were a lot of bridal fashion accessories that were so beautiful and most of the items were reasonable in price. I ordered some things for our honeymoon too. Even though we were getting married on the beach, I insisted on a floor length wedding dress. My bridesmaids wore a light weight satin dress for my wedding and so did my little flower girl. They were all so elegant, they could have been on the cover of a bridal magazine.
There were torches around the reception area and the dance floor was lit up with little white lights we had strung around. I had sailboat place card holders and placed seashells and starfish all around the tables. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. Everyone seemed to like the gifts they received.
Our wedding table was beautifully set with beach themed champagne flutes, little beach tealights and lovely beach themed candles and holders. Everything at our wedding reception came with a beach theme décor, including our fantastic wedding cake topper. Our topper was a bride and groom taking a walk along the beach. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. We danced, ate tons of seafood, like shrimp, crab, lobster and of course we had other foods for those that didn’t like seafood. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. It was a little sad when we had to leave for our honeymoon and everyone was still partying it up.
The first thing I had to do when we came home from our honeymoon was get out my wedding guest book I bought online and make out all the thank you notes for the people that shared our wedding day with us. That was a day I’ll always remember and I’ll have lots of photos in my beach wedding album to look at and relive again and again.
